So, I have been busy with programming the past couple of weeks; not much time to write. But, I plan to change that this week! I am not sure how I will change that, but I need to; I feel it.
Start Fiction:
She was tall, slender, walked with purpose and carried a full bodied head of auburn hair. Then she smiled. She had a twinkle in her left eye, or at least that is how Tony saw it.
They had worked the same shift for months; next door to each other often crossing paths in the hallways if the hospital. He often entered her department, but for some reason he couldn't muster even a simple hello.
Tony wasn't sure if it was her beauty that kept him from uttering words in her presence, or if he was simply falling deeper into the delusion he wasn't worthy of anyone's acceptance.
Today was going to be different, he told himself. That was his goal. Work was irrelavant; saying hello to the "pretty one" was top priority.
There was no real problem to speak of, really. Tony was married and had no intention to pursue this woman in any capacity other than "friendly co-worker" who works in the same hospital. But that is was bothered him the most; why couldn't he say hello to this one girl? It perplexed him deeply. It wasn't so much about her as it was him.
... more to come ...
End Fiction.
